Outsourcing Global Peace

Outsourcing is the relative term of offshoring. As global as the names sound, they have played a vital role in globalizing the world. Globalization can be alarming and some of it can be really beneficial for the health of Mother Earth. For instance, global warming, though warmly global, is actually harmful. Outsourcing or offshoring, both have played a vital role in bringing cultures together on to the next level. Here, we aren’t merely referring to people sharing thoughts on life, but actually sharing ideas and collaborating on business level.

Outsourcing is the strongest bridge that connects East to the West. Majority of the growing outsourcing companies actually belong to Asian countries such as India and most of the companies that seek these services are European and American based. These outsourcing companies officially called the BPO Services take care of a number of tasks that include sales, logistics, human resources, supply chain management and print services. Business Process Outsourcing involves a number of different strategies and services but it depends on the company to undertake the ones they require.

Through outsourcing, the companies are minimum at risk of going in complete loss. Whereas, if the company hires a number of insource staff, there will be high salaries too. The company can also save the expense of other employ benefits it will have to offer to its hired staff. Outsourcing companies also enable a balance of jobs in rich and poor countries. The western countries hire outsourcing companies from Asia for various businesses, hence increasing the economy of the poor country, and in turn leading to global prosperity and peace. Automatically, when you will interact with a person of an alien country that you know nothing about, you’ll gradually get to know about their culture. Through this process, misunderstandings can be removed and a better understanding can be developed.

Outsourcing is Helping American Economy

The US Economy is still the largest economy of the world and there are several factors backing it. Outsourcing is one of these factors. If we put a glance at the current election campaigns launched by Mr. Obama and its opponents, we come to know that this campaign is mainly targeting unemployment and economy. Obama administration has talked about bringing back the manufacturing jobs to their country at different occasions and thus they are, directly or indirectly hitting the outsourcing companies.

The proposed alternative solution to bring back the manufacturing jobs is insourcing. There are several offerings for those who will help in bringing the manufacturing jobs back to the country. For instance, they will have tax deductions. Similarly, the companies outsourcing to other countries will have to pay more tax and there might be some other restrictions as well. The US economy is largest and most of the countries in the world look toward it as it becomes the target market for them. Truth is that outsourcing companies in countries other than the US have their front office here. These front offices have US employees and thus they contribute in the US economy. This is the other picture of outsourcing companies whether they deal in back office support services or business process outsourcing.

Outsourcing emerged as a business strategy and has a proven track record in helping businesses get streamlined and then grow fast. The very slogan of insourcing seems good from the standpoint of lowering unemployment ratio in the US, yet it will take people some time before they accept it as an alternate of offshore outsourcing.  Do you think insourcing will be successfully implemented to bring back manufacturing jobs to US? Back office support services companies will be a dream again? Is there any threat to the future of offshoring?

Made in America is the Gap between Outsourcing and Insourcing

“I don’t want America to be a nation that’s primarily known for financial speculation and racking up debt buying stuff from other nations.  I want us to be known for making and selling products all over the world stamped with three proud words:  “Made in America.”  This is an excerpt from the views of Mr. Obama expressed in Insourcing American Jobs Forum in the presence of representatives of several businesses and this held in the mid of January 2012. They were all gathered to discuss bringing manufacturing jobs to the country. Today, after first quarter of 2012 is over, what Mr. Obama said is the centre of his election campaign. The campaign seems positive with respect to unemployment in the country. However, it is also a threat to the outsourcing companies.

Despite the all goodness of insourcing for the country and how Obama Administration is working to bring the manufacturing jobs back to country, it seems a far reaching dream to be ‘master of trades’. The current global market is good because it favors the best business solutions. The market is dynamic and to be chosen up as ‘fittest candidate’ for something, one needs to be equipped enough to meet the criteria. If people go for the back office services in India, China and other Asian countries, there is a sound logic behind it. The reason is that they want to get a quality solution at the fraction of cost. Cheap labor is undoubtedly a big factor involved in outsourcing phenomenon.

Evolved in 1990s, outsourcing (off shoring) today is a solution matured enough that SMEs go for it.  Back office services companies play their key role in streamlining the business process at a cheap rate. I could be wrong about giving a perspective about insourcing. So, let’s give it some time until current US elections are over. What are your thoughts about insourcing in US? Will there be more manufacturing jobs in future?

Back Office Outsourcing Services Result in Major Employment Increase

Back office outsourcing services have increased in a great number in the past few years. An industry that started off when banks needed an outside source to take care of their paper work which was getting out of hands has now become one of the most rapidly growing one. In the beginning BPO offices used to be full of youth just out of graduation or still pursuing education and taking up outsourcing job as a side job. It was commonly known that a person can’t really follow a career in the field, as outsourcing companies might be providing a large number of jobs but they cannot promise a career.

However, this rumor about BPO services not being able to offer their employees lifetime career opportunities has lately been proved wrong. The growth of the industry is one of the fastest that can be seen. This rapid increase in the industry has specially been seen in Asian countries such as India. Majority of the European services have lately been seeking outsourcing companies from eastern countries for their call centers. Because of the time zone factor, most of the companies hire these offshore countries for round the clock customer services.

Back office outsourcing services have extended a lot in the recent past as well. Not only are the companies seeking BPO services for their back end tasks such as data entry and human resource management, but now these services are also dealing in direct customer end tasks such as mentioned earlier. Other services currently being offered by these services include procurement, learning, human resource, content development, multimedia, animation, graphic designing, SEO and legal transcriptions. Many of the small scale companies are totally giving up the charge of their businesses to these outsourcing services too; this includes business strategy as well as taking out all the required tasks.

Back Office Support – The Shorter Way to the Success of Your Business

BPO services have grown a great deal over the time. If you define the term BPO, abbreviating Business Process Outsourcing, it is the process of reducing your work load by transferring the office jobs to an outside source trained specially in the task. Business Process Outsourcing services are based on two different processes, one is related to front office tasks and the second is relevant to the back office tasks. Majority of the businesses growing out there seek the help of back office support to carry out some of the major back end tasks that take place within the company.

BPO services can prove as a shortcut to the success of your business. These days a variety of industries are seeking the support of these back office and front office services to help in the growth of their business. The journey that started off with banks trying to share their load of paper work with different companies has now extended to even law firms and many other small scale and large scale businesses out there. If you talk about front office support then various Asian BPO services that take off the customer dealing area are aiding various companies within the United States and other European countries by providing them with round the clock services, enabled by the different time zones.

If you talk about back office support, where it all begun, then companies are hiring these BPO services which end up in a large amount of cost cutting and support in the work load. Through these two things, the possibility of a better and quicker growth of a business is ensured. Some other benefits you might be able to avail through the back office support is a noticeable reduced paperwork and a better output because of the skilled outsource staff. Through all this, you can pay more attention to other things related to your business, hence increasing the productivity.

The Threat of Insourcing for Outsourcing Companies

Insourcing is becoming a hot topic from sometime in the US. Obama Administration is working on its campaign for the next election and is hitting hard their opponent i.e. Mitt Romney for outsourcing jobs. This election campaign has deep influence on the global market. Especially, the outsourcing companies can smell the hidden threat for their future. The US is a target market for a majority of outsourcing companies and that’s why, the patriotic slogan raised by Mr. Obama will have impacts on these third party back office services providing companies.

Today’s world is a global village in true sense. This was not so true before this. Despite the announcements made by Mr. Obama, the facts favor the outsourcing phenomenon. It seems natural to get specialized solutions at a fraction of cost to streamline one’s business and then to reap the fruit of online visibility. The difference of currency is always a key factor involved when outsourcing is a topic of discussion especially while outsourcing to countries like China, India and Pakistan. Though Govt. is offering a lot to those who go for outsourcing and bring jobs back to country, yet we can’t overlook the law of ‘survival of the fittest’. Several companies won’t go for this trend of insourcing for not being a tested and long-lasting solution.

The SMEs who already have outsourced to some third party back office services company and are beating their competitors, won’t consider the insourcing option. The current global market is flexible enough that it accommodates new experiments like the one done by two friends to come up with a website like Pinstagram. However, the businesses already moving smoothly won’t go for something that has lot of risk. Insourcing can be good from patriotic standpoint but it can be a replacement for outsourcing for having national boundaries.

Back Office Outsourcing Equals Streamlined Business Operations

I like the current global business market. I like it because it accommodates merit. As a business person, I know that current global business market is all about ‘survival of the fittest’. This is equally true for businesses and business solutions at the same time. Take the example of business process outsourcing. It is not an old business tactic but it is successful to an extent where it has becomes a challenge for the economy of IT leader i.e. the US. The Obama Administration is working on discouraging outsourcing. However, business solutions have their natural life and they survive until they remain the ‘fittest’.

With the advent of iPhone, Android and web 2.0, the business processes have sped up. The current market is more like showing specialization in almost all fields of your business. Depending upon the number of your employees and the nature of your business, you need to go for the right business solution to beat the competition. Back office business activities are not the core of a business but it is essential that they are performed in a professional way. Outsourcing these activities to a third party back office outsourcing specialist would be required factor rather than doing it on your own in the presence of several other tasks.

The IT industry is very dynamic and there is always something new in the market. This industry has a deep influence on setting the standards of global businesses, so keeping pace with the changing scenarios and adopting new technologies is important. This requires time to focus on what your competitors are doing. If you keep yourself indulged in your back office tasks, you won’t be able to make the most of your online presence. Decide today to know how to approach your target market before your competitors. Back office outsourcing would be a wise move.
