Importance of SEO Outsourcing

To promote your services or products over the internet, you require a website. Getting a website and having it designed beautifully doesn’t solve all the problems. In fact, the designing of the website and its optimization is a major task, and to be honest, it isn’t easy. Majority of the companies opt for services of business process outsourcing companies for the task of search engine optimization of their website. Is outsourcing your SEO tasks a good idea? Yes, it’d be better to hand out the task to professionals, since it’s a very complicated job. However, before you outsource, there are a few things about the process that you must know.

Search engine optimization, getting rankings, traffic and finally sales are a long process, and it cannot speed up in any way. So once you plan on optimizing your website, don’t rush in for results. Patience is the key. Before you outsource, make sure you are choosing a company professional enough. Interview the people who are going to work for you and assess their capabilities. Once you’ll have a little conversation with the people who will be working for you, you’ll be in a better position to make a decision.

It would be a good idea if you went through some of the date available about search engine optimization over the internet, the more knowledge you’ll have, the more you’ll be able to manage the outsourcing process. Apart from that, your job is not alone to just pay and outsource your work and then sit and wait, you will need to stay constantly in action. Ask for updates, take interest and make sure you know everything that is going on and about over your website. Give your suggestions and discuss the progress continuously with your hired company. Chances are your outsourcing will work just fine!

Reasons for Outsourcing

You might have heard the name of outsourcing or offshoring many times, and might have wondered what it is all about. For the clarification, the term “outsourcing” refers to contracting a company to perform some specific work tasks for you. This same outsourcing is given the name of “offshoring” if the hired BPO services company is in another country. Mainly, outsourcing was known to the firms that manufactured, but lately IT outsourcing has started to emerge on scene too. There have been a number of advancement in the field of IT sourcing in past decade, and it has gained rapid popularity in past five years. Here are a few reasons why businesses outsource:

•    One reason why companies have outsourced in recent past is because of drowning labor. When they outsource or offshore to another company, the cost is much lower, hence a great help in the survival of the business.

•    It might not be possible to get expertise locally, hence companies hence on a larger scale, especially in the field of Information Technology, to get access to professionals around the globe.

•    Another famous reason for outsourcing is saving time for core activities. Some companies merely outsource back office tasks and release a lot of burden off their heads.

While these are all the right reasons to outsource, there are a few things to be kept in mind. Many companies have a notion that they can simply outsource the whole process to another company and that’d be just fine. This isn’t right. The right way is to hire a team of professionals who have a knowhow of your outsourced work, so that a check can be kept and communication can be made easier. So the question falls to whether one should outsource or not? Regarding that, yes, you should outsource, but only when you have everything planned out and know all the pros and cons. Good luck with it!

Tips for Search Engine Optimization

Almost every business and company is opting for an online way of selling services or products and marketing. For this purpose, a website is required. And it isn’t that simple. You need to optimize the website as well. Majority of these companies prefer outsourcing this task to BPO services, while others hire in house professionals and some prefer getting headlong into the task themselves. For all of them, here are a few tips for search engine optimization:

•    First and foremost thing is the keyword research. You need to find the keywords that will bring the maximum traffic to your website. With that, you’ll need to make sure not to flood your website with them; it will be considered as spam.

•    Make sure you create a site map that will have link to all of the pages within your website, and don’t forget to link back these pages with each other. This is considered as one of the most effective techniques of SEO.

•    Avoid using flash. Although flash is catchy and beautiful, it does not drag traffic to your website. So use minimum of that. Do not forget to use text to describe the images you place, for SEO spiders can only hunt words and not images.

•    Your content needs to be updated regularly, and most of all, it has to be attractive and of high quality. Since content is the king, you can get the idea of its importance in the world of SEO.

•    Social media marketing is the most essential took for bringing traffic to your website these days. Without social media, you’ll get half the response that you can get with it. So do not hesitate in jumping into SMM.

•    Create user friendly URL’s to your website. Don’t forget to link your website and content to others. This way, you’ll get attention of the world around you, and will help in developing healthy relationship with the market.

And once you’re following all these techniques, it is very important to keep a regular check on your progress. It is useless to put all the effort and not keep a check on where you stand. Happy SEO!

Facing Google Updates

Google algorithm changes brought quite havoc in the SEO market. Sites’ rankings went crashing down and businesses came to the point of great loss. While many have understood exactly what Google Panda and Penguin updates are about, majority are still in confusion. If we simplify it in briefest of words, then Panda update was brought about to kill the low quality content, and Penguin update fought against spamming. Now the question arises, what exactly should be the SEO technique for the future? Since all the old and rooted techniques have now failed in a way that they can never be brought back.

The answer is pretty simply, and to be honest, very clear from our brief introduction to the Zoo changes by Google search engine. Simply, the new changes require you to produce quality content, which is not for robots or for the satisfaction of search engines, but for bringing some new and informative material to the readers. It is solely your content that is going to make you special and better from others around you. If your content is bringing information to the reader, it will surely be ranked as “special.” Apart from that, it will be liked by the readers, and they will share it with others.

Google also discourages keyword stuffing and over optimization. This was one major reason why rapid updates were introduced, to totally get rid of the evil of keyword misuse and bulky optimization. While many people are trying to update themselves with the algorithm changes, many others prefer outsourcing their website’s SEO to the BPO services providing companies out there. These companies hire professional search engine optimizers and offer services at very moderate rates. Hence, saving themselves the trouble of getting into the complications required to meet up with the changing times in the world of internet, the businesses are outsourcing.

About Outsourcing & Crowdsourcing

Outsourcing has been an issue in limelight for quite some time now. As according to some people, outsourcing is stealing jobs and throwing them out of the country, while others think outsourcing is a savior. Lately, there has been a rather new term that is being heard in the business market, which is: Crowdsourcing. So with that, the question that rises is what exactly is the difference between outsourcing and crowdsourcing? In a 2006, Jeff Howe mentioned the term “crowdsourcing” for the very first time in an article named “The Rise of Crowdsourcing,” published in the Wired magazine.

Crowdsourcing basically refers to outsourcing of some tasks to specific group of people or a person. Although crowdsourcing is actually just another mode of outsourcing, it is considered as less harmful. It could be just a way of thinking, for when a company outsources some tasks to an individual rather than a company, it is still outsourcing a job that could have been given to an in-house personnel. While outsourcing gets the label of a specific BPO services company, crowdsourcing people do not publicize their brand name. That, by far, is the only difference between outsourcing and crowdsourcing that can be described.

There are a number of online websites that are publicizing their crowdsourcing services. Although these websites are not labeling themselves as some sort of institution or company, they still have people who work for them and outsource solutions. Through both, crowdsourcing and outsourcing the companies get to save a lot of cost. Crowdsourcing bring very limited services, while when a company goes for a BPO services company they get access to larger global talent. Plus, it can be said that outsourcing companies are more reliable than crowdsourcing resources. So it is up to you to decide which could be a better option, outsourcing or crowdsourcing?

Google Zoo War & SEO Tactics

According to a detailed study, the recent Google Zoo updates affected websites and their rankings shockingly much. The research shows that more than 12.5% of the search results were deeply affected by the Panda updates, which were antidote to spam, keyword stuffing and over optimization. The websites had not yet recovered from the blow when Penguin updates fell in, affecting 3.1% of the search results, detecting the low quality material, punishing it and bringing up the quality stuff. So, the whole idea behind the updates was to make the search more useful for the users and eliminate low quality material from search ranks.

So what to do about all these changes? Now that the old SEO marketing tactics have gone down the drain, what kind of new strategies need to be built to bring back the website on top ranks? With the new changes, there are various new dos and don’ts that need to be kept in mind. First of all you need to shift your mind from quantity to quality of your website, for ultimately that’s exactly what the Google Zoo war is about. For once, if you’ve grabbed this specific approach, you are in the right direction and no search engine algorithms can bring your website down.

Many companies had severe loss in businesses due to the zoo war, and many of these companies have been turning towards BPO companies to get the help of experts in understanding these changes better and bringing back the lost status. And of course, it is the work of experts. However, the companies who are still trying to apply the black hat or grey hat tactics are not going to go very far in the game of search engines and rankings. Change, and keeping yourself updated, is the key that can unlock any door to success in the cyber world!

Offshoring – A Smart Business Choice

People have been outsourcing work for years, however with the rise of technology, this trend has been taken to the next level through “offshoring”. Offshoring refers to transferring your work to another company over the seas. Many of the European countries have turned towards offshoring in the recent times. However, question remains the same, is offshoring a smart choice for your business or a step into dark? The companies specializing in various fields offer their services online to clients located in different countries around the globe. These BPO services have been offering their services at a very moderate price, making outsourcing a worth go.

In the beginning, offshoring was considered as the last option in the process of saving a business. Many of the companies that were going down the drain turned towards outsourcing for the sake of cost cutting. This concept has recently been changed. Now majority of the European countries are giving out their work to BPO services in countries mostly situated in South Asia to get access to global talent. While they are seeking for global talent, they can also hand over their non core activities which consume time, effort and a lot of attention and pay more attention towards core activities.

With this change in the offshoring concept, a number of more companies have started seeking outsourcing as well. According to analysts, in near future, outsourcing is going to become among the most common business practices. It might become a necessity and not just a choice, especially for the new and rising businesses. Currently, it is being considered as one of the smart choices for a business, especially small scale businesses that are still rising and need to set their roots. Most common fields that are being outsourced include back office support, IT services and HR sector.

Outsourcing Tips

Outsourcing IT or back office tasks sounds like a real good idea to mostly the newly developed businesses. Mostly, companies prefer outsourcing or offshoring their IT, finance, HR and back office needs. Offshoring refers to shipping your in-house work to countries abroad. While companies can outsource to BPO services within their country, they prefer offshoring to get access to global talent and to have their work done at a way less a price than they’d have to pay if going for in-house hiring. There are however a few things that need to be kept in mind before going for offshoring.

•    If you are going to offshore a part of your business to another company in another space, make sure you choose the best place. Also make sure the people you are going to deal with, and are giving your business in hands of, are good in your language for communication sake.

•    Give your hired BPO company a chance to understand what you do, and what you want, and don’t be too hasty in passing judgment. Don’t go about trying to keep everything in your hands, remember you are hiring talent from abroad, might as well try experiencing the change.

•    Plan out the process you want your job to be done. A preplanned strategy and work plan is always best for you and makes things more convenient for both parties. So make sure you have everything worked out before you hire outside services.

•    Remember that the company you are going to outsource to will have good employees as well as average ones. If it’s possible, try interviewing the people that will be working for you, and make sure the team working for you is the best.

By keeping these four factors in mind, and at the same time occasionally keeping a check on the progress and work flow, you can make your outsourcing successful.

Leading Companies & Outsourcing

Gone are the days when Outsourcing and Offshoring was considered as a remedy of cost cutting alone. Today, the purpose of outsourcing for some of the leading companies goes deeper than that. Leading companies that have outsourced one way or another had different reasons for outsourcing their work to other companies, some even in different countries and continents. One major reason why top companies are outsourcing is to get access to global talent on a very low cost. According to a recent research that involved 2,000 companies, taken out by a firm named Bain & Co, one out of every ten of these companies actually managed to achieve a profitable growth.

After the analysis of some of the top companies, it came to surface that majority of them had a very strong and long term outsourcing strategy. Gathering talented staff from one locality is a very difficult job, hence many businesses seek BPO Services to reach that talent. Taking example of the famous Proctor & Gamble, they offshored some of their activities which led to sudden boost in their income and marketing strategies, today majority of the innovation within the company comes from a healthy collaboration between different beyond shore minds set together.

Needless to mention, cost cutting is still one of the major reason to offshore one’s business. And it shall remain that way in the coming years as well. Acer, today world’s second largest PC manufacturing company initially outsourced everything, which led to quality products and a major boost in sales. Today, the company has some 6,800 employees from around the globe and is still running smoothly and successfully. Following the lead of these major names in different industries, many small businesses are choosing outsourcing as well. Today, about 70% of the companies within the United States are either outsourced or offshored successfully.

The Idea of Global Outsourcing

The task of finding cost effective as well as high quality global outsourcing services can be a tough job. For the past decade or so, outsourcing has become a very famous term in the world of global business, and the motherland of business process outsourcing is considered as South Asia. Businesses around the globe are turning towards the services of countries such as India, Philippines, China, Sri Lanka and Pakistan for their outsourcing needs. One main reason for this is that services provided by companies in these countries are at a very moderate rate and of high quality.

Proficiency in English and understanding of western culture can be something that might come in your mind while considering offshoring your business. But it has been proved that these countries have people who not only speak very good English but understand the western culture deeply. This is because the schools are teaching the language, and internet has shortened the distances a great deal. With the world in your computer, it isn’t very difficult to communicate with people on the other side. Companies that are looking forward to outsourcing IT services specifically turn towards these countries because of their professional and talented staff.

By choosing the right outsourcing company and giving your IT services in the hands of one of these countries, you can gain quality services at an unbelievably low cost, which would be totally impossible if you were going for in house hiring. Although outsourcing has become quite a common practice in the business world, yet the idea of global outsourcing confuses some people. However this misunderstanding is vanishing soon because of more and more companies offshoring and presenting satisfactory comments regarding the whole offshore experience. And if there are any misunderstandings, with the coming time they will vanish too and make outsourcing a happy word!

Offshore Outsourcing

When the company has to make a decision regarding offshore outsourcing, many questions rise which revolve around one single question: is it really worth it? Well, there are a number of different opinions and every other person is going to present a totally different point of view. But whom to believe and whom not to believe is going to be your decision in the end. There are, however, some facts that you can keep in mind and base your decisions. These facts sort of conclude offshore outsourcing as either good, or necessary evil that cannot be avoided in today’s world.

It is, however, becoming a universal fact that very soon, outsourcing will be considered as one of the most common as well as important business practices. A large number of emerging offshore BPO companies is an evidence of the fact that outsourcing is very much in demand. Most of the companies that are outsourcing are preferring offshoring to countries mainly located in South Asia. South Asian countries have experts in specifically IT industry, and they are offering services at a very low cost because of the rising competition in the market. Outsourcing your work to one of these companies is definitely not a bad idea.

How can outsourcing be proved beneficial remains the question. For once, consider hiring all the staff that you will need for that specific sector you are going to outsource. Hiring a person is one thing, paying the salary is another, providing the workspace and technology, yet another. On the top of all that, you are bound to provide all the employee benefits to your hired staff too. These include medical benefits and incentives. There isn’t one thing that you will be ridding yourself off with offshore outsourcing, there are many. And if put together, offshore outsourcing doesn’t really sound like a bad idea at all!

Most Outsourced Sectors

The large number of emerging business process outsourcing companies is a sign that the coming era is going to experience some serious outsourcing. According to a research that was taken out recently, about 70% businesses within the United States have outsourced one or more sectors. Outsourcing, initially, was limited to call centers, however today outsourcing has no limitations or boundaries. However, there are two outsourcing trends that have been gaining fame for the past decade, and those are outsourcing for IT and finance services of the company.

Outsourcing to the countries within Asia and Africa has become very famous. Majority of the businesses that have been outsourced in the United States have their work outsourced to countries such as India, Philippines, Kenya, Pakistan, China and Sri Lanka. In the survey, the companies were asked about their experience related to outsourcing of the IT sector, and majority of these companies had a similar answer; they were very much satisfied with IT outsourcing and will be doing it again in the future. Another sector most outsourced after IT is finance department. Outsourcing finances gets a lot off the company and more attention can be paid towards core activities.

There are many reasons why IT and finance sectors are being outsourced so rapidly. For once, they are the most convenient jobs to be transferred and secondly, the process saves a lot of money. Hiring professionals in both fields can be a very expensive step, however by outsourcing them to an outsourcing firm, you can save huge amount of money, which can be used in things that require more attention and usually get ignored. Both sectors consume a lot of effort and time as well as staff. Besides, it’s always quite a job to choose the right people; hence, people prefer outsourcing that particular job.

Outsourcing Content Creation

Content creation is a very vital part of your website construction. If the written content placed on your cyber space is the one that can take the heart away of your visitor, and turn him/her into a customer, the credibility and success of your business is bound to increase. Everyone appreciates good content, and finding good content over the internet also means further sharing. So if you want a copy written for your website, you will need to find good writing services that know your audience, and know how to communicate with them.

If you approach good content writing services, they will know how to grab the attention of your visitors and market your services or products. It is said that a written word can have more convincing effect on the reader than any other source of visual communication. If you want to make everything just perfect, make sure you choose the right writers for your website. There are various companies out there providing writing services, many BPO companies are also offering outsourcing of content creation to their clients.

While many people are of the opinion that no one can explain their services or products better than themselves, this is not completely true. The experts, who have been writing as a profession, actually know how to boost your services and present them in a way that is way more attractive to the reader than what you can write. Giving your content in the hands of professionals is always the right thing to do. Writing services offer content of every kind, for instance if you wish your website copy to be SEO oriented, they will embed the keywords for you, and if you want it to be otherwise, they will make sure its catchy enough to impress your readers and reduce bounce rate.
