Leading Companies & Outsourcing

Gone are the days when Outsourcing and Offshoring was considered as a remedy of cost cutting alone. Today, the purpose of outsourcing for some of the leading companies goes deeper than that. Leading companies that have outsourced one way or another had different reasons for outsourcing their work to other companies, some even in different countries and continents. One major reason why top companies are outsourcing is to get access to global talent on a very low cost. According to a recent research that involved 2,000 companies, taken out by a firm named Bain & Co, one out of every ten of these companies actually managed to achieve a profitable growth.

After the analysis of some of the top companies, it came to surface that majority of them had a very strong and long term outsourcing strategy. Gathering talented staff from one locality is a very difficult job, hence many businesses seek BPO Services to reach that talent. Taking example of the famous Proctor & Gamble, they offshored some of their activities which led to sudden boost in their income and marketing strategies, today majority of the innovation within the company comes from a healthy collaboration between different beyond shore minds set together.

Needless to mention, cost cutting is still one of the major reason to offshore one’s business. And it shall remain that way in the coming years as well. Acer, today world’s second largest PC manufacturing company initially outsourced everything, which led to quality products and a major boost in sales. Today, the company has some 6,800 employees from around the globe and is still running smoothly and successfully. Following the lead of these major names in different industries, many small businesses are choosing outsourcing as well. Today, about 70% of the companies within the United States are either outsourced or offshored successfully.
