Tips for Search Engine Optimization

Almost every business and company is opting for an online way of selling services or products and marketing. For this purpose, a website is required. And it isn’t that simple. You need to optimize the website as well. Majority of these companies prefer outsourcing this task to BPO services, while others hire in house professionals and some prefer getting headlong into the task themselves. For all of them, here are a few tips for search engine optimization:

•    First and foremost thing is the keyword research. You need to find the keywords that will bring the maximum traffic to your website. With that, you’ll need to make sure not to flood your website with them; it will be considered as spam.

•    Make sure you create a site map that will have link to all of the pages within your website, and don’t forget to link back these pages with each other. This is considered as one of the most effective techniques of SEO.

•    Avoid using flash. Although flash is catchy and beautiful, it does not drag traffic to your website. So use minimum of that. Do not forget to use text to describe the images you place, for SEO spiders can only hunt words and not images.

•    Your content needs to be updated regularly, and most of all, it has to be attractive and of high quality. Since content is the king, you can get the idea of its importance in the world of SEO.

•    Social media marketing is the most essential took for bringing traffic to your website these days. Without social media, you’ll get half the response that you can get with it. So do not hesitate in jumping into SMM.

•    Create user friendly URL’s to your website. Don’t forget to link your website and content to others. This way, you’ll get attention of the world around you, and will help in developing healthy relationship with the market.

And once you’re following all these techniques, it is very important to keep a regular check on your progress. It is useless to put all the effort and not keep a check on where you stand. Happy SEO!

Facing Google Updates

Google algorithm changes brought quite havoc in the SEO market. Sites’ rankings went crashing down and businesses came to the point of great loss. While many have understood exactly what Google Panda and Penguin updates are about, majority are still in confusion. If we simplify it in briefest of words, then Panda update was brought about to kill the low quality content, and Penguin update fought against spamming. Now the question arises, what exactly should be the SEO technique for the future? Since all the old and rooted techniques have now failed in a way that they can never be brought back.

The answer is pretty simply, and to be honest, very clear from our brief introduction to the Zoo changes by Google search engine. Simply, the new changes require you to produce quality content, which is not for robots or for the satisfaction of search engines, but for bringing some new and informative material to the readers. It is solely your content that is going to make you special and better from others around you. If your content is bringing information to the reader, it will surely be ranked as “special.” Apart from that, it will be liked by the readers, and they will share it with others.

Google also discourages keyword stuffing and over optimization. This was one major reason why rapid updates were introduced, to totally get rid of the evil of keyword misuse and bulky optimization. While many people are trying to update themselves with the algorithm changes, many others prefer outsourcing their website’s SEO to the BPO services providing companies out there. These companies hire professional search engine optimizers and offer services at very moderate rates. Hence, saving themselves the trouble of getting into the complications required to meet up with the changing times in the world of internet, the businesses are outsourcing.

Outsourcing U.S. Merchandize

There seem to be a very intense kind of confusion going on in the minds of Obama and allies. While at one point, the administration wants the United States to get the renewable energy, while at the same time, they are against outsourcing their product manufacturing of any kind to another country. As China makes the cheapest as well as very effective solar panels, U.S. has been purchasing them quite rapidly. That being the main reason why solar panel manufacturing companies within the United States have failed to leave a mark.

Similar is the condition with back office outsourcing. A number of the companies within the United States were on the verge of drowning permanently due to global economical crises, when a ray of hope called “outsourcing” was seen in the distant. All the companies started going towards this little light, and most of them survived the storm. Outsourcing brings a lot of cost cutting. Not only that, outsourcing also provides access to global talent which isn’t available in the local market. Despite these advantages, it is being said that outsourcing is a source that robs off jobs from American citizens and sells them to people from distant lands.

Back office outsourcing includes a number of tasks that are mostly considered as non-core but very important for the back support of the company. These tasks require a lot of staff and are highly time and effort consuming. If the companies outsource these tasks to companies provide back office services out there, they get to save a lot of headache. With the saved time, effort, capital and headache, they get a chance to pay more attention towards the core activities that will lead to the growth of the company. So, sooner or later the U.S. administration will need to get out of the dilemma regarding outsourcing and figure out what’s required.

About Outsourcing & Crowdsourcing

Outsourcing has been an issue in limelight for quite some time now. As according to some people, outsourcing is stealing jobs and throwing them out of the country, while others think outsourcing is a savior. Lately, there has been a rather new term that is being heard in the business market, which is: Crowdsourcing. So with that, the question that rises is what exactly is the difference between outsourcing and crowdsourcing? In a 2006, Jeff Howe mentioned the term “crowdsourcing” for the very first time in an article named “The Rise of Crowdsourcing,” published in the Wired magazine.

Crowdsourcing basically refers to outsourcing of some tasks to specific group of people or a person. Although crowdsourcing is actually just another mode of outsourcing, it is considered as less harmful. It could be just a way of thinking, for when a company outsources some tasks to an individual rather than a company, it is still outsourcing a job that could have been given to an in-house personnel. While outsourcing gets the label of a specific BPO services company, crowdsourcing people do not publicize their brand name. That, by far, is the only difference between outsourcing and crowdsourcing that can be described.

There are a number of online websites that are publicizing their crowdsourcing services. Although these websites are not labeling themselves as some sort of institution or company, they still have people who work for them and outsource solutions. Through both, crowdsourcing and outsourcing the companies get to save a lot of cost. Crowdsourcing bring very limited services, while when a company goes for a BPO services company they get access to larger global talent. Plus, it can be said that outsourcing companies are more reliable than crowdsourcing resources. So it is up to you to decide which could be a better option, outsourcing or crowdsourcing?

Google Zoo War & SEO Tactics

According to a detailed study, the recent Google Zoo updates affected websites and their rankings shockingly much. The research shows that more than 12.5% of the search results were deeply affected by the Panda updates, which were antidote to spam, keyword stuffing and over optimization. The websites had not yet recovered from the blow when Penguin updates fell in, affecting 3.1% of the search results, detecting the low quality material, punishing it and bringing up the quality stuff. So, the whole idea behind the updates was to make the search more useful for the users and eliminate low quality material from search ranks.

So what to do about all these changes? Now that the old SEO marketing tactics have gone down the drain, what kind of new strategies need to be built to bring back the website on top ranks? With the new changes, there are various new dos and don’ts that need to be kept in mind. First of all you need to shift your mind from quantity to quality of your website, for ultimately that’s exactly what the Google Zoo war is about. For once, if you’ve grabbed this specific approach, you are in the right direction and no search engine algorithms can bring your website down.

Many companies had severe loss in businesses due to the zoo war, and many of these companies have been turning towards BPO companies to get the help of experts in understanding these changes better and bringing back the lost status. And of course, it is the work of experts. However, the companies who are still trying to apply the black hat or grey hat tactics are not going to go very far in the game of search engines and rankings. Change, and keeping yourself updated, is the key that can unlock any door to success in the cyber world!

SEO Updates and Visibility Tips

With the recent Google Zoo updates, things had gone haywire in the world of content and search engine optimization. The new Google search engine algorithm has brought vital changes to the way SEO worked. First the optimizers had to confront the Panda updates. Not much time was given to recover when Penguin updates bumped in. With these new updates, the way things worked shifted a little. As it had been declared in the past, content still remains the king. However, the search engine optimizers working need to keep some certain things in mind while making the strategy. Here go a few tips.

Google has always depreciated the concept of over optimizing. So of course, these new updates were based on the purpose of getting rid of this problem. Over optimization refers to keyword stuffing in the context, a flood of links on a single page and no text variation. Now, the Google expects you to write for human beings, not search engines.

If your content has voice and you have kept the sins of over optimizing in your mind, your optimization can still go down the drain. What might be the reason? Well you can’t really have your voice being heard without sufficient social presence. Creating social presence is one of the most important things.

Link building is another field that requires a lot of change. In the past, things had gone unnatural with too many links at odd places. Make sure you have your links evenly spread. Make sure your links are from authoritative sources as well.

Negative SEO has never been approved and will never be. Make sure you avoid spamming and keep your work clean as much as you can. For negative SEO might give results at the time being but on the long run it will never work.

Keeping these few things in mind, you can have a happy new SEO experience. Or if you want to give it in the hands of professionals, there are a number of back office services out there that will offer you services.
