According to a research conducted by National Outsourcing Association of
the United Kingdom, majority of the British have a grave
misunderstanding related to outsourcing.
Most of the people living in England believe that outsourcing is an
evil that robs jobs. However, NOA’s analysis of 2011 resulted in
opposite findings. These misconceptions are linked with the loss of
jobs, outsourcing to India and opening of brand factory in China. This
Public Perception Survey was recently taken out and according to it;
only about 20% of the UK population actually knows what outsourcing is
and how it can benefit the country.
National Outsourcing Association claims that they will make sure that this misunderstanding among the masses is removed and that they are able to bring forth solid proofs that outsourcing is actually helping in the betterment of overall economy of the United Kingdom. The analysis of 2011 by Business Services Association brought to the public knowledge that outsourcing has contributed to UK GDP about £14 billion, and yet the public cannot get accustomed to the idea. NOA is pretty much confident that in the coming time the association will be able to clear any kind of confusion or misunderstanding in the public’s mind regarding outsourcing.
Outsourcing has become a popular trend lately. Majority of the small scale as well as the large scale businesses are turning towards BPO services for various major tasks. These BPO companies are mostly in foreign lands such as China, Philippines and India. With the coming days, the outsourcing trends are yet to be taken further. Some countries such as Philippines are even including an IT-BPO course in their colleges and universities to promote the industry further and prepare the youth for future services of BPO. Outsourcing trends keep changing and these services have to rapidly keep updating along with the changing time.
