Outsourcing is Helping American Economy

The US Economy is still the largest economy of the world and there are several factors backing it. Outsourcing is one of these factors. If we put a glance at the current election campaigns launched by Mr. Obama and its opponents, we come to know that this campaign is mainly targeting unemployment and economy. Obama administration has talked about bringing back the manufacturing jobs to their country at different occasions and thus they are, directly or indirectly hitting the outsourcing companies.

The proposed alternative solution to bring back the manufacturing jobs is insourcing. There are several offerings for those who will help in bringing the manufacturing jobs back to the country. For instance, they will have tax deductions. Similarly, the companies outsourcing to other countries will have to pay more tax and there might be some other restrictions as well. The US economy is largest and most of the countries in the world look toward it as it becomes the target market for them. Truth is that outsourcing companies in countries other than the US have their front office here. These front offices have US employees and thus they contribute in the US economy. This is the other picture of outsourcing companies whether they deal in back office support services or business process outsourcing.

Outsourcing emerged as a business strategy and has a proven track record in helping businesses get streamlined and then grow fast. The very slogan of insourcing seems good from the standpoint of lowering unemployment ratio in the US, yet it will take people some time before they accept it as an alternate of offshore outsourcing.  Do you think insourcing will be successfully implemented to bring back manufacturing jobs to US? Back office support services companies will be a dream again? Is there any threat to the future of offshoring?
